Research Fellowship at MPii


Research fellows at MPii are typically early to mid-career professionals who are studying a particular aspect of our industry as part of preparing themselves to the next stage or level of their career.  This prestigious position provides unique access to some of the most knowledgeable, experienced,  and master-level professionals in the industry, as part of high-level targeted research projects, which the fellows themselves often design.

It is a part-time position, intended for someone who is currently working in the industry, or has successfully completed internships and is currently studying at the grad-school level or who is working in another industry are are looking to  transition.

A fellowship at MPii is a respected thing to have earned on your resume, as it means you have completed a 9 month + commitment of work and study of a specific area of our industry under the guidance and mentorship of one or more of our senior advisors. In fact, over the years many of our fellows have used their fellowship as a tuition-free alternative to graduate-level film school.
